“On a recent trip to Paris we were fortunate enough to be invited to spend an afternoon with some friends and join them on a tour they had booked with Alexandra of The Seen-Paris. She led us to several amazing art galleries, introduced us to new artists and shared a little of her vast knowledge of art and art history. And as our friends are in the wine industry, she curated a special wine tasting and lunch with a sommelier at his bistro. Then we topped it all off with a beautiful, private cruise along the Seine with champagne and sunshine! We had such an amazing time, and Alexandra is so delightful, that we ended up booking with her for another experience, this time strolling through Montmartre. We took in some history, art and of course really amazing food and a private wine tasting/lesson on French wines. Not only did Alexandra put together amazing curated experiences for us, but she was also our go-to for the best bistros, wine bars, late night cocktails and entertainment. We were super fortunate to have met Alexandra. I highly recommend her and will definitely book with her again the next time we are in Paris!” - Shaun F. & Rick V. (Napa, CA, 2022)
“As someone who gives, takes and recommends tours for a living, I can unequivocally say there's nothing like The Seen in Paris. Alexandra unveils under-the-radar galleries, artists whose work you'll want to hang on your walls, and tasty restaurants from which to discuss it all. If you're interested in interesting art and are looking for a beyond-the-obvious experience in Paris, The Seen is it.” – Sara L. (journalist; Paris, FR, 2022)
“Every year I struggle to find a gift for my designer husband's birthday. After taking Alexandra’s tour myself 4 years ago, I realized what a perfect present this would be for our yearly visits to France. I came away with a visual of some of the art that Alexandra introduced me to and that will stay in my memory forever… Since that first visit, I have taken my husband on two tours with Alexandra and he is always left in a state of joy and happiness. Alexandra truly has the ability to give the client a feeling of exploration behind the scenes, and to the most magnificent exhibits and locations. Her vast knowledge of the art and history of each venue is impressive, and opens up a whole new world for inquisitive minds… Not to mention the superb meals that were included in those out of the box restaurants Alexandra guided us to. We look forward to our next visit and our next The - Seen Paris experience.” – Heidi L. (Los Angeles, CA, 2022)
“We were so lucky to meet Alexandra through a friend of a friend and clicked with her immediately. After some emails and a phone call to get an idea of our preferences, Alexandra crafted an itinerary of dining and outings that made the most of our time. This included a day with friends with Alexandra as our guide. Throughout our stay, we truly felt we were experiencing Paris like locals. The sights were a mix of the “classics” and stunning hidden gems. Every restaurant was superb, and we never felt like we were tripping over hordes of tourists. Without Alexandra, there is no way we would have had such a fantastic time in Paris.” - Peter K. & Terry G. (Napa, CA, 2022)
“Thank you, Alexandra, for this illuminating tour. Meeting the well informed gallery owners, and their revealing insights into the artist’s lives of the displayed collections, was one of a kind luxurious mental experience. Also, Alexandra’s introduction to the Pinault collection at the Bourse du Commerce Museum, with so much of her insight made it a stimulating and entertaining visit. The fact that she had exposed us, earlier in the morning, at [one of the galleries], to Bertrand Lavier ‘s newly created neon artworks, and, [then] to see more of his work in the rotunda of Bourse du Commerce display was the cultural icing on the cake. The flavorful lunch was a welcome break in this one day tour, and, you can be assured that we will be back for another cultural and culinary experience on our next trip to Paris.” - Guy C. (Los Angeles, CA, 2021)
“This was a fantastic experience. Alexandra has a passion for art that is contagious. I felt like I got to see a part of the Paris art scene in a unique way. If you are an art lover, you should book this experience. It totally is worth it.” – Patrick G. (Austin, TX, 2022)
